Guitar Hero World Tour - WiiA few years ago, Guitar Hero took the world by storm. Rock star wannabes all over the world were able to rock out to their favorite songs and learn to ‘play’ them by using a pretend guitar and pressing the colored buttons that match the notes on the screen. Everyone from teens to soccer moms to grandparents were playing Free Bird or Carry on My Wayward Son for hours, trying to advance to the next level.

Guitar Hero World Tour is the fourth installment of the Guitar Hero series and boasts more rocking ability than any of the previous three Guitar Hero games combined. GHWT includes the famous plastic guitar along with drums and a microphone to allow players to add percussion and vocals to their songs, creating a more dynamic rock star experience for up to four players at a time. Players can even create and record their own songs.

Also new to Guitar Hero World Tour is the ability for players to customize their own rock star. They can manipulate everything from age to the amount of tattoos they have. Alternatively, players can choose their favorite rock star like Ted Nugent, Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Billy Corgan or Sting. There are even virtual representations of real-life music venues, ranging from places like the House of Blues to San Francisco’s AT&T Park.

Get your family rocking by picking up Guitar Hero World Tour and enjoy hours of fun. Check out our store for deals on GHWT on ebay.

Note:  Some users have reported problems with the drums. However, there appear to be fixes available online and/or replacement options through Red Octane.
